Edwards knows of the turmoil in France which explains his difficulty in writing. The first squadron of the French province is on its way to America. All are full of hope to be of use to the powerful exertions of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Jamet wants to go to the United States and not to Canada. P.S. Father Goupille sends greetings.
