Barton, Francis W., New York, New York to James F. Edwards, 1900 November 19
Scope and Contents
He was sorry to learn of the loss of Notre Dame's fine gymnasium. He looks back to his four years at Notre Dame as the happiest days of his life. His association with Edwards and the little Crescent Club orchestra seems to stand out over it all. Notwithstanding appearances he always felt kindly toward Edwards. He trusted that Edwards would try to forget the unpleasant part. He only thought when at Notre Dame of the days when he should enter his Medical course. He expects to take his M.D. degree in June. P.S. His room-mate has just read him an account of a second fire at Notre Dame. :: XI-2-c A.L.S. 8pp.
