He returns the Compendium of Philosophy which Edwards loaned him. He is now studying at Kenrick Seminary. There are about 100 seminarians not one of whom he met before except Mr. Burke who was at Notre Dame five years ago; Burke is studying for the Chicago diocese. They have little opportunity for physical exercise. Byrne is studying for Bishop Dunne's diocese in Dallas. They say it is a pretty wild place. :: XI-2-c A.L.S. 4pp.
