McCullough, W. J., Davenport, Iowa to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1900 August 01
Item — Box: CEDW 9, Folder: 26
Identifier: CEDW XI-2-c
Scope and Contents
He wrote Father Morrissey regarding his son whom he hopes to have at Notre Dame in the Fall. Bert had completed the four years Latin course in the local high school. If Notre Dame will accept the certificate of his work instead of requiring an entrance examination, it will be doing what all the state universities are doing. The fact that Edwards was still at Notre Dame was a strong factor in his deciding to send Bert to Notre Dame. :: XI-2-c L.S. (Typed) 2pp.
