Lamothe, Father Arthur, Little Falls, Minnesota to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1900 February 13

In the public schools of Little Falls they use as manuals of history the works of a certain Meyers of Belmont College, Ohio, which Lamothe finds very unfair to the Catholic Church. He thought he could remedy the evil by putting into the children's hands other manuals written in a Catholic spirit.
