Myers, George W., Dubuque, Iowa to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1897 July 13

 Item — Box: CEDW 8, Folder: 06
Identifier: CEDW XI-1-o

Scope and Contents

He encloses a clipping describing his mother's accident. Her escape was miraculous but the shock to her nervous system was severe. Mrs. Hay who was killed was a daughter of Gen. Jones, as is also Mrs. Deuss. Mrs. Deuss will carry out her sister's promise to give Edwards some letters of Bishop Loras. He blushes with shame to think that he nvever acknowledged the receipt of the N.D.U. pin Edwards sent him for Christmas. He is still working his way through the world and thinks the good example Edwards has set him has done considerable good. :: XI-1-o A.L.S. 4pp.
