This finds him trying to survive the heat. He just returned from a trip in the woods where he spent a week looking over some pine lands. Edwards is such a will of the wisp that one cannot be confident that their letters will reach him direct. He is planning to spend a vacation at Green Lake. He is still in the employ of his father.
