Murray, Ella T., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1896 April 28
Scope and Contents
Among the many kind friends at Notre Dame none could have been kinder than Edwards. As time goes on they realize the death of their uncle, Brother Celestine, C.S.C. more and more. It was evident that he was much loved at Notre Dame. They are doubly indebted to Edwards as they have found it was through his instrumentality their uncle obtained for them the Pope's blessing. If Edwards endeavors to fulfill the last wish of Brother Celestine to obtain the blessings, it will give the recipients the greatest pleasure. She thinks that the brother had reference to Mrs. Mary R. Murray, her step-mother; Mrs. Annie McCaffrey; Mrs. Annie Campuzano. :: XI-1-n A.L.S. 4pp.
