Brownson, Henry F., Detroit, Michigan, to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1891 March 5
Scope and Contents
Brownson thanks Edwards for his order for "Columbus" which he sends by express. Owing to the number of books Edwards has bought from him, he charges only the wholesale price and will hereafter make the same discount on any orders for his books. The photographs were defective, but by having wash drawings made, the pictures do very well. He asks what Edwards and Luigi Gregori think of them. Edwards' suggestion to have John Gilmary Shea boom the work is good; but Brownson would like to have somebody else ask him, as Edwards knows how modest he is in such matters. He sends a copy of the "Columbus" ad, which Edwards offered to put in The Scholastic, for which service Brownson thanks him. :: XI-1-i A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
