Carroll, Jeannie, Washington, D. C., to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1890 March 10
Scope and Contents
She wants a long letter. She sees by the Catholic Mirror that Edwards was enjoying the Carnival in New Orleans. She did not think Edwards would be silent so long. Mrs. Burritt is worried about her boys; it is so hard for them to get employment. Guy Burritt was disappointed in his Cuban venture. Hugh Burritt is preparing for Civil Service, but that is so uncertain. It is the greatest misfortune that Emily Brent does not occupy herself with something at home and not be dwelling so much on her troubles. :: XI-1-h A.L.S. 6pp. 12mo.
