O'Connell, Daniel St. John's College,, Waterford, Ireland, to James F. Edwards, Cork, Ireland, 1889 October 30
Scope and Contents
He was disappointed in not meeting Edwards. He had expected Edwards' visit for he had heard of him from his brother Patrick O'Connell of Notre Dame. His brother told him of the great work Edwards was doing in the Bishops' Memorial Hall and asked him to look for a souvenir of Bishop Patrick Kelly, first bishop of Richmond and later bishop of Waterford. The Bishop appears to have left no personal remembrance of himself. He is grateful for the offer to take a message to his brother. :: XI-1-g A.L.S. 7pp. 12mo.
