Carroll, Jeannie, Washington, D. C., to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1889 January 15
Scope and Contents
She never supposed for a moment that Edwards slighted her; she knows too well how valuable his time is. She had a mild attack of the grippe. She was invited to the Catholic University to attend a course of lectures but it was too deep for her. She thinks Miss Mary Gwendolin Caldwell's picture is out of place in Divinity Hall. Miss Carroll has a home with her niece Mrs. Burritt and her family. The new St. Peter's will be a beautiful place, built upon ground donated by her father. She will have in the sanctuary a memorial window in honor of her parents. :: XI-1-g A.L.S. 6pp. 12mo.
