Weld, Mother St. Charles, Ursulines, Columbia, South Carolina, to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1889 January 2
Scope and Contents
She hopes Edwards' health will be completely restored by his visit to Europe. He has so much to do that life with him is a continual rush. Has he forgotten to send the enlarged photo of their late Mother M. Baptista Lynch? She asks at what price would he send Christian Reid's works. She would not be surprised to hear of Edwards' starting some of these days in one of the aerial navigators. What a wonderful power electricity is ! But of all inventions that of walking on water is the useless. :: XI-1-g A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
