Scope and Contents
She thanks Edwards for his prayers with regard to the sale of her property. As yet the business is unsettled. She has determined to resume her duties as clerk in the Pension Office. The confinement will be hard to bear, but necessity compels her. She forgot to mention that Mrs. J.D. Bingham's sister married her older brother who was a Commander in the Navy. P.S. On Christmas she dined at Col. Denman's, a cousin of Mrs. General Sherman and met there the young son of Gen. Hugh Ewing who is studying for the priesthood at Mt. St. Mary's, Md. :: XI-1-d A.L.S. 7pp. 12mo.
