She was in Washington visiting her aunts, the Misses Rebecca and Jeannie Carroll, when Edwards' letter arrived asking for relics of Archbishop John Carroll . Her uncle, John Carroll Brent, gave her a part of the chain upon which hung the Archbishop's pectoral cross. Mrs. Fitzhugh is willing to divide it with Edwards. :: XI-1-d A.L.S. 4pp. 12mo.
