Scope and Contents

People are leaving the country by hundreds on account of the yellow fever. The Sisters of the Mercy have taken charge of the Hill City Hospital at Vicksburg and are nursing the sick. So far, Jackson, Mississippi has escaped, but most of the people have left. All of Morris' family have escaped so far. In Vicksburg and Grenada, Mississippi they are dying like sheep. :: XI-1-b A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
