Scope and Contents
A Religious Congress will meet to hear witness that Religion is the most vital force in the Social order of every people. Women will assist the religious committee. Topics to be discussed by women are listed. Onahan is asked to appoint a committee of Catholic Women. The History of Catholic missions conducted by women would be of great interest. It is expected that several sessions will be held during the Roman Catholic Congress, presided over by Archbishop (John) Ireland, in which the work of Catholic women will be represented. A copy of this letter has been forwarded to the Archbishop, hoping to obtain his endorsement on the suggestions for the Roman Catholic Congress.
