Enclosed is a circular which Corrigan sent as a receipt for subscribers to the Shea Fund and a letter from Father Walsh of Notre Dame. Corrigan claims that his motives in regard to the Shea Fund and the School question have been misrepresented by the foreign element and would like recognition of his efforts by the (Columbian) Cath(olic) Congress.
