Scope and Contents
Absence and sickness have delayed reply. Onahan is asked to appoint delegates for the diocese of Nesqually to the Columbian Catholic Congress with the exception of Dr. David Wall and his son Joseph, who shall be able to make the trip. Father P. Hylebos will come from Washington D. C. to represent Junger, and to him, Onahan is asked to give the enclosed letter. Also, Father Frencken, of his diocese, shall attend. Enclosure: 1893 Aug. 30 Junger, Aegidius, Bishop of Nesqually: Vancouver, Wash(ington) to Father P( ) Hylebos: Chicago, Ill(inois) Since Junger did not know Hylebos' address, he sends this in case of Hylebos is to represent Junger at the Columbian Catholic Congress. Other delegates are Father Frencken and Dr. Wall and his son Joseph. Junger mentions his illness and financial difficulties.
