Crane, John ( ): New York, (New York) to W(illiam) J. Onahan: Chicago, Illinois, 1893 August 1
Item
Identifier: CONA IX-1-e
Scope and Contents
Crane is shocked at the iniquities practiced in the Midway Plaisance and that such things are allowed by the commissioners chosen to represent the American people. If they fairly represent the American people, what kind of people must they be? He hopes public sentiment will speak against it, even though now there is much silence on the subject.
