Desmond wrote to Bourk Cockran but has received no reply. An invitation shall probably be extended to Bishop Keane if he does not hear from Cockran by July 1. The call for an Editorial Convention has received enough signatures to justify publishing it. He is waiting to ascertain whether some of the German Catholic papers will join in the Call. He hopes to see Onahan in Chicago July 2.
