Corcoran, Father James A., Overbrook, Pennsylvania, to Richard Henry Clarke, New York, New York, 1885 October 13
Scope and Contents
Corcoran apologizes for not answering Clarke's of Dec. 13, 1884. Being in Baltimore, he did not come back to Overbrook until March and has been sick. A partial operation in April gave temporary relief and a more thorough one in May relieved him entirely. He spent the summer at the sea-side recovering. Corcoran feels honored to contribute to the personal reputation of Bishop Patrick Neeson Lynch, unless the work is already completed. Corcoran ... suggests meeting Clarke in New York on Oct. 28 and 29. He has little information or reminiscences perhaps, but such as they are Clarke could make a note of them. He sends his regards to Mrs. Clarke whom he met at Bishop Silliman Ives ' after the war. :: I-2-n A.L.S. 3pp. 16mo.
