Pax encloses a copy of an interesting article. If he can find a priest to take his place for 8 months, he will be in New York March 16 to get his passport at the French Consul's. He would leave on May 17 by French steamer for Brest, France. Pax gives an itinerary of his trip in Europe. If he can help Clarke by making inquiries in Europe for material, he will gladly do so.
