She is glad Phonse, with whom she had a pleasant visit, is back with McMaster again. She should like a picture of Our Lady of Good Counsel. She does not read the Freeman, an act that is of real cost to her, but which she enjoys making. She has not felt well, but is better now; she is glad one can put a pure intention into taking care of oneself. She asks him to look up some quotations.
