McMaster, James Alphonsus, New York, New York, to John Alphonsus McMaster, Jackson, Mississippi, 1885 April 15
Scope and Contents
John's telegram was received. McMaster wanted to send some letters, and he is sending some photographs in a separate package to Jackson. John is asked if he received the letters addressed to Memphis, and if he received the letter of introduction to Mr. Fitzwilliam of New Orleans, to whom all of John's letters to New Orleans will be sent. McMaster had a nice visit at Carmel, and was present when Archbishop Patrick J. Ryan received the final vows of Sister, now Mother, St. John McMaster, S.H.C.J. She asked about him, as did his other sisters. Jack Keiley received John's letter. McMaster is in good health but misses John. P.S.
