The boat is still lying in Rio Bay. He hopes the sickness his father complained of in his last letter has not troubled him any more. He has no worries over small pox or yellow fever since no one can excape dieing of whatever disease he is supposed to die of and it does no good to worry about it. He hopes Gertrude McMaster is well.
