The Archbishop James Gibbons has given permission for Helen's entrance into the Carmelite Order. Mother Louise thinks it would be well for Helen to bring a brown dress. She gives other directions attending Helen's entrance. Helen is asked to let Mother Louise know the exact day on which she plans to arrive, and is asked also to remember Mother Louise to James A.
