Ridder has received McMaster's letter of the 18th. Instead of sending him the back numbers which his subscription entitles him to, he prefers that the current issues be sent him from the present time until February. He will make up the four months due him in that way instead of by the taking of back copies for which he has no particular use. When the time comes to renew his subscription for another year he will send the money in cash and in advance but unless he does so, McMaster is to discontinue the paper.
