Identifier: CMMA I-2-c
Scope and Contents
Burtnett, secretary of the Silver Mountain Mining Company, notifies Elder that 5 shares of the stock of that company have been entered under his name. The company is not going to assess any more stock since it now has sufficient capital to erect suitable buildings and machinery, and expects to put the mine on a dividend-paying basis in 3 months. He encloses a formal notice from the Board of Directors asking for $5 as assessments on the 5 shares of stock they have sent him. :: I-2-c A.L.S. 2pp. 8vo.
