She received his letter and volume accompanying it. The prayers of St. Gertrude are already known to her however, as they were given to her mother many years ago. It would give her pleasure to meet McMaster and his daughters. He receives her congratulations upon his daughter's vocation. She does not know the lady of whom he speaks, personally, but she has heard a great deal of her family and their conversion to the faith. Sixteen years ago there was not a Catholic in her family, now they have all been converted. She asks his prayers for the conversion of her brother-in-law Alexander Stephens :: I-2-c A.L.S. 7pp. 12mo.
