Kelly, Thomas Xavier, St. Louis, Mo., to James Alphonsus McMaster, New York, New York, 1875 April 13

 Item
Identifier: CMMA I-2-a

Scope and Contents

As McMaster may have seen from his exchange list through the columns of the "Western Watchman" he showed up some of the un-Catholic utterances of the "Ritual" of the modern "United Irishmen ". This led to a discussion with a party in Iowa. He asks McMaster to publish in the Journal the "Ritual" with printed comments on the same. He wants to give the Pseudo-Catholic-Irish Society a thorough going over. He will be ready to furnish the original volume at any time, which the United Irishmen could not get out of his possession. He suggests that the "Ritual" be published in successive installments and McMaster could give them an editorial lashing they deserve. :: I-2-a A.L.S. ip. 8vo.
