He is sending McMaster the first Number of Volume VII of their bulletin, The Messanger of the Sacred Heart. He asks McMaster's advice and help regarding their problem of obtaining subscribers. At the present rate they will be unable to continue to the end of 1872. The devotional character of the work has little attraction and they cannot obtain the cooperation of the clergy, besides being poor managers with no agents.
