Freitag received the sad news of Alphonsus' illness yesterday noon and it disturbed him greatly. He offered up Mass for him that morning and all the students and novices of the house are praying for him. Freitag hopes that Our Dear Lord and His Blessed Mother will graciously hear their prayers and spare the boy. He inquires as to the health of the girls and Mrs. McMaster.
