Scope and Contents

A mass meeting of the Democrats and Union men of New Brunswick is to be held on Tuesday, June 2, 1863 at which time they wish to express their testimony in regard to the arrest of Clement Vallandigham and others. The committee wishes McMaster to be there and they humbly trust that he will make an effort to be there. He can return the next morning.
