They must meet together about the appointment of Bishop Frederic Baraga's successor, still undecided in Rome, though from a letter of Cardinal Alexander Barnabo he is not asking them the impossible. Also they want to take some action about blessing graves in non-Catholic cemeteries when they have Catholic cemeteries. Lefevere has paid $50 of the $300 levied for expenses of Father James A.
