Scope and Contents
Father Cornelius Moutard promised the plastering of the church to Mr. Miller and Mr. Hoar. They have got up a remonstrance against the Detroit man. Since they have to pay the money, they think they should have some say. Moutard also announced that no couple could be married without calling the banns 3 times. On the same day he married a couple, and the following week three couples without a call. This is written in behalf of the Catholics of Jackson - 64 of the congregation.
