The workman who built the church was paid a little over $400 and there would be due him about $250 if he would finish the church. Because of the distracted condition of the members, Martin has taken the building in hand and made himself responsible to pay the workman for the above amount and furnish material from $50-$100. Martin has lived in Grand Rapids for 15 months, has five children and feels the necessity of church and school. At present he is in the grocery and provision business. P.S.
