Watson has Lefevere's favor of June 12. About the same time he received the paint and oil for their church. He expected to receive it knowing the charity which had actuated Lefevere through life. Lefevere's letter mentioned that he ordered 200 lbs. of white lead and 10 gallons of oil but Watson has received 100 lbs. of white lead and about 5 or 6 gallons of oil, the cask of oil was badly put up and leaked out by the appearance of the barrel.
