Scope and Contents
Pedicini acknowledges Rese's letter of Nov. 8, 1833 in which he announced that he has been consecrated bishop. He and the Sacred Congregation are convinced that his zeal for the good of religion will be fruitful. Pedicini sends this letter and the Rescripts of Rese's faculties by Augustine Hamelin, a student of the Collegio Urbano returning to America and hopes that they will be acknowledged immediately and that Rese will send him the necessary information about the bequest of the priest, Father John Baptist Jouffroy.
