Pococke sends his son Augustus Pococke in the care of J. Pratt, to make both a French and an English scholar of him. Pococke is sorry he did not see Timon when here yesterday. Pococke paid $75 to E. and J. Walsh and took their receipt for the same on account of St. Mary's College, Barrens, Missouri. Augustus is making a list of all his goods and chattels he is taking with him, to be pasted in his trunk., P.S.
