Tarducci, Francesco, Modena, Italy, to Henry F. Brownson, Detroit, Michigan, 1891 March 10
Item
Identifier: CBRH III-3-d
Scope and Contents
He thanks Brownson for the copies of the translation. The translation is good and has been received favorably by the American newspapers; he congratulates Brownson. Since he is not able to meet Brownson face to face, he asks for a photograph. His work on the Cabotos progresses but slowly — school takes his time and his eyes are weak. He thanks Brownson for the reviews — praises please him, but criticism helps to improve one's work. P.S. A Genovan committee formed to celebrate the centennial in honor of Columbus has nominated him an honorary member. :: III-3-d A.L.S. Italian 4pp. 32mo.
