Shea cannot but feel flattered at the honor conferred by naming him one of the committee for the proposed Congress of Catholic Laymen, a project which has his heartiest concurrence. Unfortunately it will be impossible for him to meet the other gentlemen of the Committee on the day named, as he is still unable to walk, having fallen and sustained a severe injury in January.
