Maes, Father Camillus P., Detroit, Michigan, to Henry F. Brownson, Detroit, Michigan, 1884 February 23

 Item
Identifier: CBRH III-3-b

Scope and Contents

Maes has read Orestes A. Brownson' s "Protestantism in a Nutshell" as a glass reflecting his own convictions and was pleased to find so experienced a man assuring him that he had not uncharitably misjudged the Protestant Public. However, his object is principally to call Henry's attention to the fact that page 535 of Vol. VI of Brownson's Works is an exact reproduction of page 335. Gift of Mrs. Alexis Coquillard and Mrs. Nancy Van Dyke Schumaker. :: III-3-b A.L.S. 1p. 4to.
