Donahoe learns that McFarland is to preach the consecration sermon on the 11th. He asks for the minutes beforehand as this will enable the Pilot reporters to give a correct report of the sermon. This is merely a suggestion as the sermon will be reported and this thing of giving the sermon in advance is done frequently.
