Hendricken, Father Thomas F., Waterbury, Connecticut, to Bishop Francis P. McFarland of Hartford, Providence, Rhode Island, 1863 September 25

 Item
Identifier: CDHT I-1-b

Scope and Contents

Hendricken's health is so poor that he cannot think of going to the retreat this time. He would gladly go if he were able. Three weeks ago he gave a little mission to the youth of the parish which exhausted him and he has not left his room since. He is better and hopes to be mending. Fathers James Campbell and Michael B. Rodden will leave for Providence Monday morning. He is deeply satisfied with Father Rodden and wishes to have him with him, not for four months but as long as the Bishop can spare him. :: I-1-b A.L.S. 1p. 12mo.
