Communications Office
Scope and Contents
The Communications Office was established in 1982 by a decision of the Provincial Chapter on a proposal by the pre-Chapter Communications Today committee. The office is run by a director and overseen by the Communications Advisory Board which includes a liaison from the Provincial Council.
Material from the Communications Office include copies of reports to the Provincial Council and to the Communications Advisory Board; minutes of Communications Advisory Board meetings, Word Gathering editorial board meetings and International Commications Commission meetings; Communications Office documents, including job descriptions, budgets, goals, policy manuals; collected documents, including books from community meetings and newspaper clippings; working documents, notes, drafts and mock-ups of Communications Office publictions, including press releases, books for community meetings, community newsletters, and special projects.
