Correspondence. Date: November 21, 1953; From: Joseph McCarthy; To: Rosel H. Hyde; Contents: States that William Evjue of Badger Television Company has proven himself totally unfit to own and control a television station, and therefore Badger Television should not be considered as an applicant for the licensing of a new television station in Madison, Wisconsin. Makes this statement on the basis of the fact that Evjue has defended Communist leaders exposed by the Commission and has shown flagrant disregard for the Commissions explicit broadcasting rules. Refers to several enclosures from various newspapers and journals.
