Committee Document. Date: 1957; Report by: Joaquin R. Roces, Chairman, Committee on Anti-Filipino Activities; Content: Reports the findings of the Committee on Anti-Filipino Activities from their investigation into the presence of Communism in the Philippines. The Committees findings are that the Philippines are threatened by Communism on two fronts: an internal front consisting of Communist influenced factions within the government and an external front stemming from the rapid spread of Communism in Asia. The freedom of Filipino Nations is also threatened on a third front as well by well-meaning but misled individuals who in trying to stop the spread Communism end up infringing on the rights of the very people they are trying to protect.
