"Astrik L. Gabriel: The Paris Studium; Robert of Sorbonne and his Legacy", in "Literary Review", 1993, Budapest, Hungary, written by Kulcsár Péter. The collection of articles between 1953-1988, published in two volumes, comprises almost a monograph about students' life in Paris in late Middle Ages and the beggining of humanism. The work does not deal with the shallow Hungarian research-phenomenon, like listing names, instead it reaches down to the ideological trends driving European migration of that time. Only one fellow Hungarian is studied who, in fact, advocates a universal science. In the Acknowledgements part ALG thanks all his masters who helped him become a scholar. But even people who didn't know they were helping him are mentioned here, like the receptionist at Chicago's O'Hare Airport. Thus ALG teaches us not only how to do scientific research, but also that it is worth doing it the way he did it. Hungarian
