General
Letter. ALG's last postcards were very pleasing to her, but she hasn't yet received a response to her letter from last year. Ida informs ALG that their apartment, in which ALG spent so many years, had to be divided up into three smaller apartments due to current regulations. It was a miracle that lately Ida was issued a travelling passport and subsequently she plans to spend the next summer in Austria. Ida complains again that they live in misery and in strained circumstances -- her husband has just retired and is not allowed to work for extra cash -- yet they don't have any Hungarian friends abroad who might help them. She wishes Happy Christmas. Hungarian
